Get Involved!
There are many ways to support the Concord Seed Lending Library.
This project is a community effort and your involvement and suggestions are very much appreciated!
- Volunteer to help with the Fowler Branch Seed Garden: We're looking for some volunteers to help over the summer with watering and weeding the seed garden behind the Fowler Branch Library. Email us here to let us know if you may be able to help.
- Promote the seed lending library: Let your friends and community know about upcoming orientations and events. If you have particular ideas about how to reach out to the community, please let us know. We want to make this resource available to all.
- Donate your time: We often reach out to the community for volunteers to help us sort and package seeds or assist during other programs.
- Donate your knowledge: Are you already a master seed saver? Do you have gardening expertise. Let us know and we can work with you to plan a lecture or demonstration for the community.
- Donate your seeds: If you saved some open-pollinated seeds last year, donate a packet or two to the seed library.
- Donate your money: Can't get to the library during our regular hours? Please consider giving a monetary donation to offset the cost of the seed envelopes, marketing materials and the cost of the website domain and maintenance.
- Contact us: If you have an idea on how to improve the seed lending library, let us know by emailing: [email protected] or use our contact form on this page.
